In addition, Loboda created a limited-edition “abstract tobacco” fragrance in tandem with the Firmenich perfumer Honorine Blanc that will be distributed to garden visitors on blotter cards (shown above). Like the garden itself, it’s meant to elicit the ambience of the smoking room. “The idea is that you take it, and you smell it, and you walk around with it and just imagine it,” explained Loboda. The formula is such a costly blend of tobacco, tuberose and ambrox that Firmenich has no plans to sell it. The experience is exclusive to Frieze.
